5 Tips for Self-Love

Learning to love myself did not come easy. It took many years of self-destructive behavior before I understood what self-love meant. Here’s 5 lessons I learned that helped me move out of my toxic headspace. Had I realized these sooner in life I could have saved myself a lot of heartache.

1. Stop having relationship problems with people you are not in a relationship with.

2. Caring about what other people think of you is useless, most people don’t even know what they think of themselves.

3. It’s not who you are that holds you back. It’s who you think you’re not.

4. Know your WORTH! You must find the courage to leave the table if respect is no longer being served.

5. Losing weight does not cure negative body image.

Some of these seem really basic but take the time to see if any of these situations apply to you. Sometimes you have to take a step back and really evaluate some of the situations you are in.
