5 Tips To Reset Your Mind
  1. Have a playlist that will get you out of any funk. I don’t know about y’all, but if I’m in a crappy mood and I hear early 2000’s rap… mood changed. Create several playlists now that you only listen to when you need to reset your mind.
  2. Get up and change the scenery. For me, I need to go outside. The fresh air does something to me and it clears my soul. Go wherever it is you need to go in order to shake it off.
  3. Move your body. Even if it’s just dancing or walking the dog. I’m not saying you have to go do Crossfit but move your body in whatever fashion you can.
  4. Try and evaluate why you are feeling the way you are. Is it because your inner voice ‘Patricia’ is being a witch? If thats the case, it is time to SHUT IT DOWN. Not today Satan.
  5. Gratitude. Think about what you are lucky to have. Don’t start your day thinking I HAVE to go to work or I HAVE to go to this meeting tonight. Instead say, I GET to go work. I know it sounds silly but you’ll be surprised how after awhile your brain will naturally shift to think that way.
