- Have a playlist that will get you out of any funk. I don’t know about y’all, but if I’m in a crappy mood and I hear early 2000’s rap… mood changed. Create several playlists now that you only listen to when you need to reset your mind.
- Get up and change the scenery. For me, I need to go outside. The fresh air does something to me and it clears my soul. Go wherever it is you need to go in order to shake it off.
- Move your body. Even if it’s just dancing or walking the dog. I’m not saying you have to go do Crossfit but move your body in whatever fashion you can.
- Try and evaluate why you are feeling the way you are. Is it because your inner voice ‘Patricia’ is being a witch? If thats the case, it is time to SHUT IT DOWN. Not today Satan.
- Gratitude. Think about what you are lucky to have. Don’t start your day thinking I HAVE to go to work or I HAVE to go to this meeting tonight. Instead say, I GET to go work. I know it sounds silly but you’ll be surprised how after awhile your brain will naturally shift to think that way.
