This month Passion & Growth celebrates our 6 month Boxiversary, yes I just made that word up. P&G has become so much more then I ever could have imagined. I started on this journey last fall with a vision and not a lick of business knowledge. I wanted to make a change in the world. I wanted to shout from the rooftop that every women was good enough and worthy exactly as they were in that moment.

I struggled so much with confidence and self esteem that I thought self-hatred was going to be a part of my life forever. After a 2 year battle crawling out of the depths of shame I realized self-hatred didn’t have to be how my story ended. I slowly began to see everything my body had done for me. I realized that everyone was going to have an opinion no matter what I do, so why give a damn about what they think. I surrounded myself with positive influences and ditched the people that made me feel bad about myself (including social media, sorry but a lot of folks had to go because it wasn’t good for my mental health.) This is where Passion & Growth was born.

I knew I wanted to ‘do something’ to inspire and empower women to love themselves but I didn’t know how. One afternoon, while in Texas Wine Country, an idea was born. I thought to myself, I could start a subscription box with products that have helped (and currently help) me along my personal growth journey. That was it, that was the moment. I came home that night, found a course on how to start a subscription box business and haven’t stopped since.

I launched January 4th of this year, on my 31st birthday! The first box was sent out in February and we just sent out our 6th box! The P&G community has blown me out of the water and I couldn’t do it without them! I grew from 0 subscribers to 300 in only six months! So Happy Boxiversary to not only Passion & Growth but to the loyal subscribers who have been with me since the beginning (y’all are the real MVPs). I cannot wait to see where we are in six more months! I hope you follow along out journey!
