Nourish Your Body!
Loving your body can be hard; I know this all too well. We are constantly fed images of what our bodies should look like, what “health” means, and what we should weigh. The April box is going to focus on avoiding diet culture and actually caring for your body, because your body is worthy of care.
Your body is your home, and it’s the only one you have. Let’s focus on treating it with love, respect, and nourishment. In turn, you’ll begin to feel comfortable in your own skin, and loving your body won’t seem so hard after all.
This month we focused on just that. Let’s take a look.
The book for this month was The Joy of Doing Nothing by Rachel Jonat. Fight back against busyness and celebrate the pleasure of doing nothing in this new guide that helps relieve stress and increase happiness in your life.
As people pleasers, go getters, and women with dreams, we are constantly on the go and completing our never-ending to-do lists. This is great for when you have goals to achieve, sure, but we often ignore the toll it takes on our bodies. Nourish your body this month by doing nothing at all!
