I want you to Embrace Your Fears in August!
Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of rejection, whatever fear your brain creates for you – they are all thoughts that could be holding you back from showing up as your true, authentic self and living the life you’re dreaming of.
I have some good news for you, though. All of those fears are overcomeable. Ok, I made that word up, but it’s true! Once you learn to embrace them, you’ll have the power to overcome these fears and live your best life. I’ve included some great items from women-owned businesses to help!
Let’s take a look.
This rose gold, wire bookmark was a favorite of our subscribers this month! It was hand made by Wire Creations by Jules, and she did such a fantastic job. It’s my hope that this inspires you to have the courage to embrace your fears each time you see it. I’ve been using mine while reading this month’s book!
Be Fearless by Jean Case is an inspiring book of the author’s life experiences and uses storytelling to share practical tips for make a difference and succeed, even when your mind or others are telling you that you can’t do it. I can’t wait to see what this book inspires you to do!
Often, fear takes the form of procrastination or second guessing our abilities. We are afraid that if we do our best, it might not be “good enough”, and we’ll be judged by others and ourselves. So, instead, we choose to half-ass something, or not give it our all. That way, if anyone judges us, we can use the excuse that we didn’t really try anyway.
Well, I beg you to tell that fear of failure to shut up and sit down, so that you can take control of your life. Stop half-assin’ it with this adorable marble notebook by Jasmine C. Williams. Included with the notebook this month was a white and rose gold felt tip pen by UBrands. I just love the way these pens write, and knew it would be the perfect pairing with this notebook. Write down some goals, and go achieve them – and actually give it your all. You’ll be surprised by what you can do when you really try.
Speaking of writing down goals, I also included these badass pencils by iheartpopcandles with Lizzo quotes engraved on them! I believe that everybody needs some Lizzo in their lives. That girl is so full of confidence and self worth that just seeing her words or hearing her songs gives me a boost for the day. You can choose to sharpen them and use them to write down your goals, or leave them displayed in your home office, like me, for a pop of color and a reminder to be 100% your true self.
This Morning Matcha blend by Yourlixir can be used as both a latte and a face mask! So, whether you’re mixing up a cup of courage to start your day or painting the paste onto your face as war paint in the evening, I hope this blend inspires you to embrace your fears.
This month also featured Make Fear Your B****, an exclusive online training with Jennifer from Flashlight Thinking designed to help identify the root cause of fear and check the reality of that fear.
